Saturday, the Atlanta Guerrilla Aerial ladies will be steampunking it up at Alcove Gallery for the opening of H.C. Warner’s Engine Room.

Amazing stuff in this show… collaborative art. Come by between 7 and 11. The band is The Goldest.

I’m basically crashing the opening of the Tindel/Doubek/Hooper opening at Alcove Gallery on Friday, Octoer 10th. Yep. It’s the guerrilla part of Guerrilla Aerial.

As Chris Warner said:

Please join us Friday evening for a night with Dangerous Basement, Smoker and the Bandit BBQ, and touch of culture. Local art powerhouse John Tindel joins us with his maze of color and deep south urban concepts. Colorado’s mountain man Matthew Doubek throws down with his masterful layering and tweaked illustrative story telling techniques. Six solid years of Mr. Hooper at the Ole Owl House…as he graces us with some of the finest aged cheese. He stands alone unfolding his corral of characters and unleashing the true thunder under every stone.

If you don’t have anything going on earlier in the afternoon, stop by Eyedrum, too. I’ll be gallery-sitting from 3-8 PM.

Blast-Off Burlesque was voted Best Burlesque Troupe in Creative Loafing’s Best of Atlanta 2009. I mean, it was a tie with Dames A’Flame, but HELL YEAH!

We’re having a party (free show) at Alcove from 8-11PM on Thursday, October 1st. Come celebrate with us!

Also, the Silver Scream Spook Show was voted Best Film Series for the third year straight. So much awesome!
